A NEW WAY TO STYLE LINEN

There is nothing that says "SUMMER" like linen. The light fabric that linen brings and the looseness of the material, will keep you cool and fresh when your on any vacation or outing. Linen is worn a lot for summer getaways (or vacation), but you don't have to be heading to Hawaii in order to wear linen. Linen pants are the first thing a lot of people will grab for....but what about a linen blouse or top? Todays' post is the recreation of linen, pairing it with a set of print shorts PERFECT for summer vacation. Here is a new way to dress linen ;-)

This linen blouse is perfect for many environments. Whether your heading out to class, a walk in the park, or shopping...linen is breathable indoors and outdoors. Best of all, a linen blouse will not make you look frumpy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!!

I love 4th of July because it's a time where everyone is Patriotic and proud of our beautiful country! Good ole' American songs play on the radio; the new and the old, families gather 'round the parks anticipating the fireworks while bbq grills are burning, locals bands playing, and everyone is celebrating! You see red, white and blue everywhere!! While I may not go all out on my outfit every year from head to toe, I always like to show my American pride by wearing a hint of something that our country represents. In this case, it was our flag.

Well...not literally the flag,but a scarf similar to the flag :)

Blue jean jacket, shorts, or jeans is the way to go when heading out to see 4th of July fireworks. It's comfortable! Pick a blue jean jacket that has a different style. The cut and angles of this jacket always dress up any neutral tank top I wear.

I wanted to add something classy such as these high waisted shorts. I love how simple these shorts are, and the vintage feels which pairs well with the blue jean jacket.

What I love most about this outfit are the simple pieces that make this look very appropriate for 4th of July !!!
